Missing Coat
Devon Congress
After the Swiss teams on Sunday 20 April, a lady took the wrong coat home. Terence Treeby has her coat and the lady missing a coat would please like it back. Please contact Terence if you can help - 01803 844342.
Devon Knock-Out Teams 07-08
The County Teams has been won by Robin and Margaret Mardlin, Julian Foster and Bill Oke. We wish them the best of luck in the Pachabo (an EBU competition for county teams winners).
Devon Congress
18-20 April 2008
A very wet weekend in Torquay was enjoyed by 56 pairs and 48 teams. Congratulations to John Harriman and Bill Ellis who won the Pairs Championship
and to Lawrence Haynes, Mike Seaver, Jill Newton and David Newton who won the Swiss teams.
Thanks to the directors, Robin Barker, Steve Quinn and Terence Treeby, and especially to Terence Treeby and the committee for all their hard work in the organisation of the congress.
Portland Pairs
30 March 2008
Congratulations to Mike Hamon and Enid Hamon who won the Exeter heat of the EBU mixed pairs. They were fourth over the ten heats held throughout the country.
North Devon Weekend
14-16 March 2008
44 pairs and 29 teams came to North Devon for the congress. Congratulations to Mike Gregory and Neil Marsden who won the Swiss pairs and to Carol Ritzen, Richard Carter, David Southcombe and David Woulds who won the Swiss teams.
A great time was had by all, largely due to the efforts of Amos Bridgman, Carol Ritzen, Richard Carter, Brenda Martin and the committee - although even they couldn't manage to give us decent weather!
DBA Handbook
Please note that some of the entry fees published in the new season Handbook are incorrect. Entry fees for all DBA events at Isca are £7.50 per player. This applies to the AGM swiss teams.
