Pinnacle installed a UK accounting system for North Sea operator, Bow Valley Petroleum UK.
November 2007 -
Acting on behalf of Bow Valley Petroleum (UK) Ltd, Pinnacle provided all the technical and legal support in the successful farmout of UKCS exploration well 9/29b-R to Marathon Oil UK Ltd and Vaalco. The farminees will pay 93% (approx) of the cost to earn approx 63% of the equity. The well,a Jurassic test, is due to spud in mid November 2007.
October 2007 -
Pinnacle provided technical and legal support in the acquisition by Egdon Resources plc of the onshore UK licences held by Stag Energy Ltd. One licence contains the Eakring-Dukes Wood abandoned oil field which produced from 1940 until 1966. Egdon believe there is potential to rejuvenate the field to take advantage of increased oil prices, improved technology and the recognition of undrilled and undrained parts of the field.
October 2007 -
Led by Pinnacle Director Peter Gunn, the company provided legal, financial and tax advice on behalf of Newfield Exploration Company in the successful sale of their UK subsidiary for approx $500 million to Centrica plc.

Successful Onshore UK Farmout
Pinnacle acting on behalf of Egdon Resources & Sterling Resources, carried out all the technical work and the commercial and legal negotiations leading to the farmout of a net 45% interest in UK Onshore Licence PEDL 071.
The farminees are Granby Oil & Gas, together with two UK subsidiaries of Gas Plus Italiana. Granby said there are several prospects and leads in the licence and a well is planned on the Fraisthorpe prospect for later this year or early 2007.
Granby will earn a 10% interest in the licence, with the company's share of the cost of drilling and testing an exploration well on the Fraisthorpe prospect fully carried by Gas Plus. Gas Plus will earn a 35% interest in the licence.
